if you're out of state UMICH engieering is pretty hard to get into, so i wouldnt say its guarenteed....

your stats are pretty good and ur intel win ...thats gonna stand out....this girl in my school got less than 1000 on her sats...had a 4.0 gpa..and came in semifinalist in intel from nyc..now for nyc its kinda hard because there are a lot of nyers participating in intel..anyways she got into harvard..i think its cuz of the intel..i need to do a science project for a science fair....my teacher sucks....i dont kno how to began...can u help me out...tell me just how can i start....<~confused

Peacemakeriv- I think that you will definitely get into UMICH and Cornell Engineering (no sweat). Princeton is not a reach for you but a little harder. Who cares though? You are good enough to get into those other schools. I wish you good luck. Hey, you never know. People on these kinds of posts have been wrong. You might get into Princeton (no problem).

Princeton not a reach? It's a reach for anyone. Sure people have been wrong (and trust me, I know), but no one can deny that it's a crapshoot, as all top schools are. Peacemakeriv, I think you're looking great for UMich and Cornell... the other three, just wait and see, I guess

SAT Score: (1000 the first time ) (1100 the second ) * still waiting for my third time score
High school average: 86 (weighted)

* I got a 4 on mu U.S History AP eXAM & a 2 on the english
My senior year grades were good, but I got a 63 in math. I still managed to get an 85 average though.

anyhow, i'm happy with Cornell engineering IF i get in, it was my first choice, cuz i think it's a good match for me, i sent in so much extra things.... i hope they dont hate me for it, haha
