couple C's last year when I had to transfer schools.

Anyway, I was just wondering 'cause I am. In my opinion, you shouldn't settle for such low standards. Go for some more prestigious schools. Your talent in art could prove to be a great asset in your admission into better schools than the ones you listed.

Columbia is a reach for everyone who applies-- I'd say your chances are good at all of the other schools. You are definitely in a GWU, American and Pitzer.

Thanks for the confidence boosts... but Columbia is the one college I really wanna go to.
That and NYU.

What about those C's on my junior year report card? How much will it hurt me?
The only reason why I didn't apply for more prestigious schools is because of those C's.

You have good ECs, and, like I said, your talent in art will more than likely make up for the Cs. Also, a 3.9 GPA isn't bad. It's still an A.

You're a 99% IN at all of the above except for Columbia and maybe Rice.
NYU has a great art program, I hope you get in.

Your artwork is awesome. Are you in an AP Studio Art class? (If not, I think you should submit a portfolio anyway b/c you'll definitely get a 5.) Also, are you majoring in visual arts or did you just submit a portfolio to colleges to demonstrate your talent? Anyways, good luck!

Nah my school doesn't offer an AP art class... Anyways, I heard that it was really difficult and time consuming to score high, as well as bein a waste of time... although that was from my •••••• azz art teacher at my old public school, so, who knows really.

Yeah I'm just submitting portfolios to the schools, and I'm majoring in architecture for the schools that offer it.
