I wouldn't count you out just yet. My friend got into Cornell with a 1320 and similar SATII scores as you. He was white, middle class, not a legacy, with average EC's. It's worth a shot, good luck

By dogboy on Friday, January 03, 2003 - 01:58 pm: Edit

Wait, forget what i just said, you go to school in THE Bronx. Maybe you have a good shot then.A pretty good shot.

You need some safety schools.

Thanks...I'm also applying to Lehigh, George Washington, and Boston U. I have solid recommendations from my junior year AP Calculus teacher and my economics teacher that I've had for two years, including AP classes this year. I also have a recommendation from my mentor at my internship.

You have a good shot at Cornell, 1310 is pretty good.

By Richie on Friday, January 03, 2003 - 08:54 pm: Edit

Cornell06, what were your stats?

I want to study applied economics and management in the college of agriculture and life sciences.

I'm not from New York state...do you know if it is harder for out of state people since CALS is a state school? Does CALS have to accpet a certain amount of New Yorkers?

Any information would help.
