I'm a senior in HS. I'm interested in studying communications/jouranlism. Anyways, I've already gotten into three schools and am pretty confident bout gettin into the rest/wont totally care if i dont, but im unsure about Boston University and Syracuse (im applyin to the communications school/college for both).

My academic stats are as follows

3.435 GPA at West Springfield HS in Fairfax County VA (supposedly being in fairfax helps me?...i dunno...our grading school is a bit diff than usual, 94-100 = A)

1290 SAT (650 math, 640 verbal)

writing SAT II: 680
math IC SAT II: 640

i will be taking the french SAT II in jan.

ive taken all honors courses and two APs my junior year (4 on both the AP US his and AP human geo tests)

im taking 5 APs my senior year

extra currics, etc

two years on the school paper
co-founder of cultural club at school
student council
peer mediation officer
class council
youth alcohol and drug prevention project club
understanding people program
sciece fair 1st place (9th grade)
uhmm...lotsa clubs..lets just say im in lotsa clubs and ive held at least 1 leadership position every year

i might take SAT math IC again to raise my score a bit in jan.

oh, PS, im a pakistani-american, born in the US, first generation, parents didn't go to college, if that does anything for ya

It might be a stretch for you, but below average students get into those schools, and you can too.
