You look like a pretty good fit for all the public schools you listed. For UC you have to remember that the process is (deliberately?) a little random, so you might get into some and not others. But I'd be surprised if you didn't get into at least 5 of your 7 publics - and not surprised if you got a yes from all 7. (Unless the budget crunch screws everything up; it's hard to say what that's gonna do.)

yeah i'm really hoping for UCSB.....but i'd be happy with any of the top 3 - UCSB, UCI and UCD

bump.....i'd really like some more opinions if anyone has any....

By Savedbythebell7 (Savedbythebell7) on Thursday, December 04, 2003 - 09:30 pm: Edit

I believe you're in at almost all the UC's. WHy aren't you applying to Cal Poly - san luis obispo? dudette check your email, i just emailed you.

By Savedbythebell7 (Savedbythebell7) on Thursday, December 04, 2003 - 09:36 pm: Edit

We got the same math scores, 620 and 530 and have the same GPA of 3.3, thats really weird. But yeah i applied at all those schools, except i also applied to UCB, UCLA and UCSD for kicks and i applied to Arizona and San Luis Obispo. I know this might seem random, but do you surf? Because you're applying to almost all southern cali schools and you swim. The surfing down there is so prime. Lets see our beaches suck, we have Pacifica, yay..but Santa Cruz is all right.

By Jenlikewhoa (Jenlikewhoa) on Friday, December 05, 2003 - 06:25 pm: Edit

lol sunnycagrl...

i think you got a pretty good shot at most of those schools. no stresses.

By Highschoolda (Highschoolda) on Friday, December 05, 2003 - 06:52 pm: Edit

your SATI one score is very good. Thats probably your biggest advntage over everyone else. Thats is proly why u will get into most schools. But this is how i c it

UC Santa Barbara 80% chance of getting in
UC Davis 85% chance
UC Irvine 75% chance of gettin in
UC Santa Cruz 95% chance of getting in
San Diego State -95% chance of getting in
CSU Long Beach 100% chance
Cal Poly Pomona 95% chance of getting in

i think u made the right choice of schools to apply to. U don't have any schools are out of ur league. U will face some serious decision making soon.

By Serdu (Serdu) on Friday, December 05, 2003 - 07:24 pm: Edit

I live in the bay area (fremont)...but i LOVE san diego, which is why i applied at san diego state and USD....only now i sorta wish i had applied at UC san diego...i didn't cuz i thought it was out of my league but everyone here seems to think i have a good shot at all the others....anyways thanks for the input :)

By Gpeso (Gpeso) on Saturday, December 06, 2003 - 06:57 pm: Edit
