I was wondering what my chances to the following State Engineering Schools might be.
590/760 verbal/math SAT 1
660 Physics, 650 Writing, 760 Math 2c
amazing extra curriculars
just below a 90 average at competitive high with all honors math/science and 5 AP courses
school - ranked in top 25% of 240 people.
I had a rough start, freshman/sophomore years not too good, in fact, essay is about problems that occured. amazing junior year, having good senior year. what are my chances to :
Illinois at Urbana Champaign
Texas at Austin
Michigan at Ann Arbor

Your verbal score is pretty low, but U of I will probably take you unless you applied really late or to a narrow feild of engineering that only accepts a few applicants.

those schools look like formula schools, and your numbers are borderline, but i don't know if your extra curriculars would be enough to make u a shoo-in. it depends how much they count the extra currics..

where do you live? I ask because U of M gives some preference to in-staters.
