Oh my god! UVA results are out already? My very good friend applied ED there and we have this agreement that when either of us gets results.. we'll call if we get in but not if we don't. This is a bad sign.....
But anyway, I don't get ED results back until Dec. 15-17

Hey! Congrats on those who have gotten in! I have a question though - a lot of people are saying that they will know BY Dec. 15...I thought that's when it started? Is every school different? I applied ED at Syracuse (Newhouse) and I am pretty sure that they start in mid-dec. and goes to the end of January.

Every school is diff. For example, Tulane and UVA have already notified. Harvard, and the ivies in general will not until mid dec.

Hey labsolute I applied Emory ED too! I have only a 1280 SAT but a 3.91 UW/ 4.56 W GPA. How do you feel about your chances?

Tulane promised 4 weeks, however I got my decision exactly 7 weeks from the day I turned mine in (October 7th). Looks like yours won't be mailed until December 15th, sorry.

I don't think my chances are very good at all actually, but wierder things have hapened. Your SAT score only shows that you may not test well, your unbelievanbly high GPA has you in!!! Keep meupdate!

Labsolute, i'm in the same boat. I really don't test good. I only made a 26 on the ACT. But i am also taking college courses at the local 4 year college and i made an A in German. Yea, not a easy class. Plus i made an A in ap calculus. Only two people were able to get an A and one of them was me. the other person made a 1500+ on his SAT (that was his first time taking it) and a 34 on his ACT.

i applied early action to yale. While it says decisions come out mid-november, i got a letter stating i could check my decision online by dec. 16th. Does this mean that is the earliest i can know my decision? or will the normal mail letter possibly come before that?

For UVA, the decision came online about about two days before I got the letter. I guess it is the same for Yale. By the way the acceptance letter was so tiny and flat, I would have freaked out had I not seen my acceptance beforehand.

Jaidev, one of my friends applied UVA ED out-of-state and he's freaking out right now. have all decisions been mailed and can you check all decisions online? when did they first post them?

haha sorry for all the questions. hes in a mad panic. i still have awhile before i get my ED decision...ehhhh.

hey guys
ea to stanford....will jump down anyone's throat if they ask me again about where i want to go to school. still have to wait until "mid-december". I am taking that to mean december 15. yeah, i dont think i am going to make till then...congrats to everybody who has made it in! really, you guys are very lucky to know that you are finally into a school and all this psychoticness really has a purpose...whatever, i'm rambling now. good luck to everyone else!
