What si the MITES program and who can participate? Cma Asians participate?

If you're referring to the Coast Guard MITES program, I can give you more info on that.
I'm Asian female, I was accepted with 1240 SAT I score and 3.8 GPA unweighted.
Since it's a military program, I think Asians may be the most "URM," which I think may have been the reason for my acceptance despite my lack of sports/leadership positions.
All minorities can participate, "minority" being non-Caucasian.

for the MIT program MITE2S, asians are not considered minorities. african-americans, native americans, latinos/as, people of north african (egyptian, etc.) descent, and some others are considered minorities.
