What sorts of activities/parts of the application do college admission officers weigh the highest when they are choosing? Are some activities better than others? What makes someone get into an Ivy, and others not? Does anyone have any suggestions for good activities, community service, organizations to get involved with?

anyway, i think academic awards and activities are good. math team (with championships), national merit semifinalist or greater, internships, etc.
