Hm... I studied four years of high school here in the US, yet I must apply as an international student for the ivy league colleges because our family doesn't qualify as a permanent resident (no greencard). So, I have to apply as a Canadian International Student.
I have my GPA, SATs and the normal American stuff. I'm no different from the average American applicant yet I have to apply as an International Student. Does anyone else have a similar situation? What did you guys do? I'm thinking about writing them a letter explain situation. But they might just look at me and another guy and say, "screw him. I'd rather take the citizen." Do you guys think it will hurt my chances a lot?
