im really happy because i got into nyu stern and boston college. I applied to nyu stern ed and boston ea. I first threw my nyu letter on the floor because it said financial and guide so i thought it was just a financial catalogue not an admission ticket then i opened it and it had an admission letter.

these are my stats 1390 sat
630 writing
700 math 2 c
and 700 bio
rank 7
average 94 and weighted 98.59
ec focussed on finance and business.

Is it harder to get into Stern than the College of Arts and Sciences?

well the average sat score for stern is nearly 1400 and for cas its supposedly 1350 so i would have to say it is a bit harder. Stern is supose to be the hardest of the schools

nyu stern is alot harder to get into than cas, but i got into stern with a 1350 (700m, 650v)...

-no SAT II's (i actually took a few, but didnt release the scores)
-weighted avg: 95 (unweighted: 92)
-my school doesn't rank
-ec's include 3 clubs (president of 1, treasurer of 2), varsity track, voluteer work
-im pretty sure my recs were amazing
-my essay is what probably set me apart from other applicants tho..all i'll say is that it was VERY different and kind of weird
