You'll definetly get in if you apply to the Computer Science program in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Computer Engineering is in the College of Engineering, and that school is way more competitive, but you have a decent GPA and 35's on the math and science parts of your ACT, so you should be good to go.

UIUC is really easy to get into. 17 ppl from my school applied, every single person was accepted. (data for fall of 2003)

I was under the impression that the only CS program offered at UIUC is through the school of engineering. I looked at the academic departments on their website in Liberal Arts and Sciences, but I didn't see Computer Science listed anywhere. Are you sure it's offered in that department?

the computer science i am referring to is the one in the engineering department, computer engineering? and callofthewind, did those 17 people all apply to engineering? cuz that might be a different story.
