I don't think your crap shots are crap shots. I wouldn't be surprised if you got into any of those...

The magnet program has 100 kids, 80% of them over a 1500 SAT score and better grades than mine, and they're ALL applying to top colleges. Fortunately, most are math and science people [i want to do psychology], but a good handful are competing directly with me.
And i have no awards.
Oh! My father is white and mother is korean. I think I lose out on the teeny racial advantage as well.
Any other opinions? Be brutal.

(By the way, thank you Jennyzsong). I know i might have a chance, but any opinion on what the chances are?

I don't want to be mean but I don't think you have much of a chance at brown or swarthmore but theres absolutely no harm in trying. Both of those schools look for top 10% (you dont have it), they look for strong grades (3.5 uw isnt amazing at all), your sats are fine but you should know you'll be competeing with everyone else at your school in admissions so based on what you've told me i don't think you have a good chance at being accepted to some of those top schools but that doesn't mean you can't apply and that doesn't mean you won't get into any good schools, its just that even some of those who "walk on water" dont get into schools like brown. Your ec's arn't bad so if you wanna make a good impression try and incorporate some of the things you've done in interviews and essays.

What would that school be? Blair High School?

Yes! Know anything about it in the application process that would give me insight into my chances?

hmm...
white father and korean mother...
is your mother constantly screaming that you need to go to an IVY league, like my mother?
Ok...I think your chances are good. Not so good, but worth a shot, such as Swarthy and Brownie. Also, just curious, why are you applying mostly to LAC's?

OH MY GOD. http://www.collegeconfidential.com/discus/messages/70/31221.html This is what I wrote about parental stress, and it got a lot of response. I suggest you take a look at it.
I love LACs: the environment, the personalized attention, how i can take lots of humanities, getting close to teachers...i know that i want to study social psychology and theatre, and LACs have it.

Psuedo: I have a steadily increasing trend since my freshman year.
Freshman: 3.22
Sophomore: 3.5
Junior: 3.87
Senior: 4.0
All of my classes are weighted due to the magnet program.
