Just applied to Pitt and Penn State main..

I have 3.6 GPA and taking pretty tough courses.
My rank is 35/240. I did real bad on SAT's (930).. Retaking Dec 6th. Takin ACTs Dec 13th.
Do i have a chance, and where else should i apply.
I am looking into Engineering.

French Club 10, 11
Basketball Club 9, 10, 11, 12
Volleyball Club 11
Baseball Team 9, 10, 11, 12
Soccer Team 12
Basketball Team 9
Volunteered 40 hours for community
etc..

I have a good essay for Pitt and good rec's for Penn State.

Have faith in yourself! You don't know if you're going to get rejected or accepted, so just be optimistic! If you are serious about it, maybe you can hit 'em up and ask for an interview?

Maybe you can go to a mediocre school and transfer later. Anyway, maybe you can look at like Siena? Loyola? Randolph-Macon? Rutgers? Rider? Montclair? SUNY?

You could get in to one of the branch campuses of either of those schools and transfer within 2 years to main.
