Just took SAT II's for first time yesterday. Is it going to hurt my chances for UC Davis, Santa Barbara, and Irvine if I did pretty well on Writing and Math IC, but horrible on Literature. I dont know if I should take it again in December?
I am majoring in Economics.
because I recently found a list on these message boards that listed the priority of items in admission:
1. SAT II's (most likely w-590, m-590, lit. less than 400 prob.)
2. GPA/AP's/Honors (3.62, 5 AP's/Honors)
3. SAT I (1200 total)
4. ECs (Editor Newspaper PR Amnesty Intl Sec. FSA etc.)
Is this list true?!

Christ, i hope not. I just took the SAT II's also, and literature was killer. My school only offers 2 APs too, so that makes it even worse. If this list is true, I am not seeing acceptance to UCSD over the horizon.

Well we have til Nov. 12 (late registration for dec.) to decide if we should take Literature over again. I really dont want to, but I should. ugh!

yes it is true. SAT II's are very important for UC's, whereas SAT I doesn't really matter at all (above 1200 and youre fine).
