I just got my PSAT scores in and I know I don't qualify for merit but do I at least get commended? My score is 181. I know it's pretty bad but I live in FL so what's this mean? It says in the sheet that I meet the requirements. Can anyone answer?

nope too low even for commended, I think the cutoff is around 200 for that, 215 for semifinalist

Doubt it. My friend had a 199 last year and did not make commendation. Don't sweat it though, concentrate on other stuff.

I hear ugly rumors. Is the cutoff in Washington State really a 223?

The cutoff in Washington state will indeed be high, either 223 or 224 this year. Hope this helps!

Has anyone else NOT received their scores yet? I'm positive it's just my school tormenting us, as if exam week weren't bad enough. But really, this is getting extreme... oh, and I'm from FL too, and heard the Semi cutoff is 213 this year. Not positive though.

Hey WA kids--223 is ridiculous. The highest cutoff of any state is maybe 222, and that's either MA or NJ. I'm from WA and my counselor told me last year the NMSF cutoff was 214. It won't change by more than two points this year.
