College when choosing a student tend to look for unique attributes that would contribute most to their campus and to their future reputation. I think I speak for alot of people when I say that even some of the most well-rounded people will get deferred (from Harvard in my case).

Since everyone is curious to death about stats's mine.

GPA- 3.93 (weighted it's 4.68, 9 ap classes taken, 4 this yr)
SATs/IIs 1570, 800 mathIIC, 780 writing, 790 chem
Varsity polo/swimming 4 yrs (Jr nats Swimming if you know what that is)
800 hrs of comm service (worked w/ disabled + worked a summer in Panama)
Nat'l AP Scholar, Nat'l Semifinalist (236 on PSAT)
other than that I was president of a cultural club but that pretty much takes all the time a person has got.

PS I apologize for the terrible grammar/typing but I'm sure the message is clear.
