I have 3.52 unweighted ~3.85 weighted at a rather crappy high school in Southern California

Unweighted 34/428

1320 (730 V, 590 M)retaking, but i think 1360 is the most I can reasonably hope for because my math skills just aren't there.

800 US History
770 Writing
590 IC
680 Bio-E

4 AP's so far
AP Euro-5
AP US-5
AP Chem-3
AP Bio-3

I may or may not submit SATI to Midd and Bowdoin

If I don't Midd will see the 770, AP Chem 3 and 800

Will take AP Eng Lit, Amer Gov and French Lang this year

4 years concert and marching band by graduation, euphonium

4 semesters of newspaper by graduation, 3 as opinion editor,1 as staff writer

110 convalescent hospital volunteer hours

California Scholarship Federation

2 years in Native American club, i'm white though, too bad.

Those stats? OUT OF STATE? U have almost no chance at W&M. I said almost. Dont take my word as gospel but i do know quite a few ppl that go there now (Im instate northern va) so dont get ur hopes up.

I hope i wasnt too disheartening. I think you deserved the truth.

Yeah, I'm a CA resident, I think it's worth a shot considering that my academic interest is one of the schools strength. I am well aware that it's a reach though.

Your GPA class rank, and SAT are low for W&M, Middleburry and bowdoin. However, your AP's and verbal SAT score are fairly impressive. Rate my chances under "no chance...any advice" please

Thanks, if I have any questions I'll be sure to email you. I would hope somewhere like Bowdoin would be sure to take SAT scores with a grain of salt since it's a rather disproven indicator.

Math is really my only weakpoint on my application.
