Which school is better overall, Duke or Stanford? (They are equally ranked in U.S. News.) I just wanted to get different people's opinions... thanks!

duke...stanford may be more prestigious among high school students but if you plan to go to graduate school duke is more respected among grad school admissions commitees

Depends. Stanford beats Duke in Engineering, Duke beats Stanford in pre-med type stuff, and so on. Personally, I like Duke better, but maybe it's just cause I'm on the east coast.

they both have beautiful campuses, they both have great weather, they are both great schools...however, i would DEFINITELY choose stanford

Duke gots super hot southern belles, it is definatley better than stanford in my opinion. I live in the norhteast and dont really like to fly, so Duke is also more convenient for me.
