i was recently deferred by upenn. does anyone know what percentage of the people who get deferred in early d get accepted in the regular pool?

it depends on the year. think about it...statistically speaking, deferred applicants are placed into a larger overall pool of regular decision applicants and are weighed without prejudice. that being said, with an applicant pool of 15000+, that is enough people to give a steady stream value such that the acceptance rate will probably mirror regular decision acceptance rates overall...namely around 15%.
