Hi! any input would be very helpful! Heres my scenario... I am a senior applying to Tulane, Most on here are are yale and harvard.. so i hope this doesnt get ignored. But i am passionate about Tulane! I only have an 1170 SAT and 27 ACT.. yikes. and a 3.3 cumulative. but i go to a private prep school with a really good reputation. I am super involved extra curricularly and have over 300 hours of community service. not counting 10 days in Guatemala as a doctors assistant for a mission trip. my problem is that there is so much more to me than my transripts show.. and i want to pitch myself!!! so i went to an admission reception appointment.. and the vice president of admissions was the speaker/ greeter, and i stayed afterward to ask questions after everyone had left, he seemed impressed with my determination to go there and was really encouraging. ( I am very personable and interview well) so im just wondering... with my credentials and this little bit of encouragement, if i should stop stressing? what else can i do? besides of course bring my scores up which i am working on. oh btw i also have 4 glowing letters of reccomendation from teachers, and one from a doctor who is tulane alumni who i have done comm. service for. ADVICE!! HELP!!! THANKS!!

Thank you! and theres so much more to me as a college applicant, that i didnt post.. i didnt want to bore anyone. but you get the idea. Ive taken honors, ap's, in national honor society and all that.. you know the usual.. ha

just curious, but what makes you so passionate about tulane? what makes you want to go there?

what kind of person would you describe yourself as?
