I got a 1310 on the SAT1 (680 math, 630 verbal), and just took them again yesterday
my scores for SATII's were
Math IIC - 640
Writing - 670
US History - 750
I'm going to retake the Writing and am going to take the math Ic
I'm editor of my school's newspaper
I go to a rigorous prep school and have been on High Honors for most of my 4 years (B+ average).
What do you think my odds are at:
George Washington University
Emory
UVA
Georgetown
And is early decision at GW a good idea? (I'd have to decide by Nov 1)

Alright, I'll be brutally honest. Your chances of entering those schools are slim to none.
However, I believe that there are many other good schools, such as University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State U. That would be pleased to have someone of ur calibre.

I think davidrune is wrong! Your chances are above average for gw. You can aim higher.

you are perfect for GWU...i know a guy who was in the top 12% of our class, had a 1320 on the SATs, and some good ECs, and he did not only get accepted to GWU, but a HUGE SCHOLARSHIP!
Apply

The place where problems arise is when kids that are more qualified for GW from my school also apply. I think there might be 2 other kids that fit this category, one got a 1390, and one a 1500 on the sat's.
Though the admissions guy told us that they figure that 1 in 3 that they admit rd will go to gw. So I figure that means that they will prolly take 3 rd.

What's a "HUGE SCHOLARSHIP"
so no one answered my question.. I only want to apply to GW, so am I definitely in if I have a 3.8unweighted and a 1550 SAT?
anyoen know what the biggest scholarship is?

YEAH! University of Oklahoma!!!! I'll probably end up there... hmm
But seriously, do apply to GW, but apply somewhere else so that you don't regret it. Good luck!

Thanks for the input, I have made the decision to do ED.
