Here is my college list breakdown:

SAFETY:
Rutgers
NJIT

GOOD MATCH:

Drew
American
Bucknell (don’t really wanna go there, though)

REACH:
Lehigh
UPENN
College of William and Mary
Colgate
John’s Hopkins
NYU
Georgetown
Swarthmore
Vassar

Is my list accurate? Because I don’t wanna get screwed over if my list is wrong. Do you guys have any other suggestions on where should apply?

I know that you guys see tons of these kind of posts, but I would really appreciate it if you took a couple minutes to tell me my chances. Thanks in advance.

You have it pretty well targeted. Drew and American may almost be safeties as well. I'd say drop Bucknell if you don't like it - don't waste your energy applying somewhere you don't like. Maybe Franklin & Marshall, Lafayette or Dickinson would be a better match for you. Realistic reaches for you are NYU, Lehigh, and Vassar. All of the rest are going to be high reaches, perhaps impossibile, so I'd suggest you narrow it down to one or two of them and concentrate on your low reaches and matches. If you absolutely love one of your reaches, consider applying ED to boost your chances.

yeah you need much higher scores to even stand a chance at upenn. swarthmore, jhu and gtown are also really really unlikely.

also if you're tutoring people, they'd expect you to have good scores and for some schools there, you're in the botton 25%.

Bump.

Carolyn has given you a good take. I would just take Penn, Swarthmore, and Georgetown off your list right away...save yourself time, aggravation, stress, and disappointment. C's right...drop Bucknell if you don't want to go there.
