Ok here's the deal...I've been getting a lot of crap from Harvard lately:

1. Last year, a brochure
2. This spring, another brochure
3. This summer, an application
4. This fall, a letter for an information session for "minorities" (even though i'm asian)
5. Last week, a postcard
6. And various e-mails

I have showed absolutely NO INTEREST in Harvard whatsoever...(because their engineering sucks [u.s. world and news rankings])...i didnt return the information cards, nothing...and they keep sending me crap...

So does this mean that i'll get in if i apply... or is this just a load of crap?

Many of the "prestigious schools" out there ship out taunting offers to people who don't have a shot in hell of making it to the school. This usually results in a larger amount of applications, thus a larger amount of application fees, and also a greatly decreased acceptance rate... this makes the school look a lot better than it really is.

Nope, college mail doesn't mean a thing.
