One of the schools I'm applying to is DePaul, which is pretty much my first choice. I'm applying as a transfer after a little more than a year at a community college.
-First question is, do admissions officers place more of an emphasis on extracurriculars if you're applying as a transfer as opposed to a freshman? I haven't been involved in much of that at com. college since there aren't the same opportunites for it there as opposed to high school. Would not having much in the e.c. department hurt my chances?
-Second, just grades alone, I've had almost all A's and about 2 B's (my gpa has been steady between 3.5-3.7)However, I'm having it a bit rough in one of my classes right now, which I MIGHT end up recieving a C in. How much would that C hurt me, even compared to the rest of my record?
-Last, I'm wondering if I'll still have a decent shot at getting in with taking all "regular" level classes (no honors) However, none of those classes have been below that level and I've done very well in them and have gotten in pretty well with my teachers. Would I still have a more than decent shot w/o having taken honors classes?
I know there's a lot more to take into account, and everybody's different, but based on what I've given and if anyone has enough info, advice or stats about the school to help me out, I'd appreciate it. I'm pretty hopeful on this one

Grades will be more important than EC's as a transfer. I think they will also consider your overall GPA - one C shouldn't kill that. You have a good chance at DePaul as a transfer. Good luck.
