Hey everyone,
Here's my list in order of reach to safety:
Skidmore
Wheaton (MA)
Ithaca
Wagner
University of Hartford

I have a 3.5 GPA and about a 1100 on my SATs (takin em again this week) I take an AP, 2 honors and other college prep courses (no blow offs)... I know this isn't strong but I think my other stuff will make up for this:

-National Honor Society
-National Honor Roll
-Head of design for yearbook
-Investment Club
-Seniors Helping Freshman (helps the newbies)
-Student faculty of Art Club
-3 years Varsity hockey...now I'm in theater production of Midsummer (what a change lol)
-Tutor for the school in the Academic Development Center
-Berklee School of Music Guitar Sessions scholarship winner for the 2003 Summer program
-Author of "Watch Out, He's Got AIDS": Hardcover children's book which teaches kids about respecting peers with HIV/AIDS
-Personal guitar artwork business run from my house (I do custom artwork on guitars)
-Tons of other •••• I can't think of.

Basically my strong points are my hobbies, involvement and talent in the arts... I'd be applying as an art major and a minor in management.

So what are my chances, based on your opinions, that I can get into these schools?

Email me at mikehandis@hotmail.com or IM me on AIM at StratocastahGuy...

Thanks!

Wagner and University of Hartford - probably safeties.
Ithaca - match (but a stronger match if you can get your SAT up)
Skidmore - a match/reach (closer to a match if you can get that SAT score up)
Wheaton - probably a reach but a realistic one if you can get the SAT up and convince them that you will fit with their unique environment and philosophy.
You probably could use one more match. How about Calvin College or Hope as an alternative for Wheaton?
You have some nice schools on your list - good luck!

Your schools sound just about right to me. Have you tried the ACT too? I did much better on that than the SAT.
