Is it any easier than normal to get into Dartmouth if I live in New Hampshire?

I don't think so. It's a private school after all. If anything, since they doubtless get an overweighted number of applicants from the area, I would expect it to be harder not easier.

Trackman, I think Dartmouth has traditionally given extra consideration to "North country poor," if you fall into that category

You know Heyjude didn't assume that. Read the message a few more times. Dartmouth has that tradition, and that's what Heyjude knows. That's what Heyjude shared. Even went outta the way to say, "IF you fall into that category."
