Or an interview at Wesleyan and Swarthmore? Are the interviews at selective colleges more formal?
I did an interview at Bryn Mawr and it was like talking to an old friend. Can I expect other schools to be like this?

I did one for Yale and it went okay..not as good as my Stanford interview though =/
The lady seemed to ask a lot of current event type questions, about my opinions on various issues and such. Not a lot of emphasis on my ECs/hobbies-- the stuff you would expect more of.

Gotspice, Are you talking of the on campus Yale interview or one by an alum in your area? My daughter JUST did the on campus Yale interview. It is conducted by a senior student. Hers was not like yours and indeed it did focus a lot on her ECs.
