If you're a URM (black female) and your SAT score is about 100 points higher than their average SAT, does that mean you have a pretty good chance of getting in even if their school is very selective?

1430..for schools that have around 1340 average scores (bryn mawr, wellesley, smith etc.)

Those are great schools but a 1430 for a URM will put you solidly in the running, I think, for even more competitive schools. That said, D loved Smith, I loved Smith, TheMom loved Smith, we all love Smith.
