I am currently a Junior in high school and want to go to a prestigous college. In August I started a telemarketing job. I work 20 hours a week 5-9 monday-friday. I am doing the hardest possible schedule and 6 clubs( a few in which i hold high positions in). I am currently ranked about 15/700 in my school. My question is, would it be more beneficial for me to quit my job and move up to about 10/700, or maintain my job and probably fall back to about 20/700. Basically, will having a 20 hour a week job outweight the class rank i will probably lose.

Also my SAT score after 9th was 1300, and in 10th grade i had the 2nd highest gpa in my grade...9th grade I got a b in spanish and one or two A-'s, so i was at like 25 after that, but 10th grade pushed me up alot.

O ya, I am going to probably ED NYU's business school...would my job as a telemarketer help me since i am a really good salesmen?
