I had a 3.7 GPA and a 1230 SAT. I applied for frshman admission, but was put on a waiting list. I was never offiially denied. I am now at UNC Greensboro. My grades here are significantly higher than what I made in high school. DoOes anyone know the selectivity they have for transfers?

if your college GPA is significantly higher than a 3.7, then you not only have a shot at UNC Chapel Hill...you have a shot everywhere, including Harvard. remember, a college 3.7 is vastly different from a high school 3.7!

if you want to stay local, why not try duke?

That is very true. You must have been very close to getting in since my sister had a 3.5, 1150 on SAT's and got into UNC Chapel Hill freshman year.
