Currently Junior on Honors Program & AP College Level Classes
*94 and above is an A
*My county is very rigorous- i will prefer to leave it disclosed(VA)

Freshman Year(Final Grades- including final exams):

Japanese Level 1- A
English 9 Honors- B+
Marketing Fundamentals- A
Biology 1 Honors- B+
Geometry- A
Physical Education & Health- A
World History/Geography Honors- A
Co-op Occupational Experience Work- A

Cumulative GPA for Freshman Year: 3.875

Sophomore Year(Final Grades- including Final Exams):

Algebra 2- A
Physical Education & Drivers Ed- A
Computer Graphics Level 1- A
Japanese Level 2- A
English 10 Honors- B+
Chemistry Honors- B
World History/Geography II Honors- B

Cumulative GPA for Sophomore Year: 3.6428
(Yeah, I kind of slacked off and messed up big time on my Chemistry Final and was like .1 away from a B+ in History grr...)

My Junior Year schedule as of follows:

Precalculus Honors
Physics Honors
AP U.S. History
AP Language & Composition
Japanese Level 3
International Marketing
Computer Graphics Level 2

There was regular physics, trig/math analysis, u.s. history, and english 11 regular and english 11 honors but i decided to take the most hardest classes because i believe i can do this

There is no such thing as AP or Honors for Japanese and do not receive extra credit for Honors Classes.

SAT I's- I am planning to take the end of this year or early spring

SAT II's- Same thing maybe or senior year

My Total GPA so far: 3.7589

In School Extracurriculars/Clubs:

-National Japanese Honor Society/ May 2003- Present
-Junior Math Team/ Sep. 2001- June 2002
-National Math Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society/ May 2003- Present
-DECA Marketing Association of Students Society/ Sep. 2001- June 2002
-National Art Honor Society/ Sep. 2003- Present

Community Service/ Outside Work:

-Co-op Occupational Experience Work/ 2001-2002
-Resturaunt Store Manager & Clerk Volunteer/ 2001-2002, August 2003- 423 Hours

Awards/Recognition:

-DECA Chapter Office Class President of Marketing Fundamentals
-Two-time Recipient of Straight A's Honor Roll

-1st Poom Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
-10th Grade NASA National Science Contest
-Participant Badge in Reflections Contest Programs of Visual Arts
-Eight-time Recipient of A, B Honor Roll

Now I am wondering what my standings are so far? I'm aiming for the Advanced Diploma & Valedictorian which you need 4.0 GPA

Miscellaneous:
-Teacher Recommendation for advancing me from Triginometry/Math Analysis to Precalcus Honors(basically I just skipped a class higher in math)
-Received Special Invitation for National Student Leadership Conference(just wanted to add this, probably insignificant)

Future Clubs & Extracurricular Activities:

-Guest Speaker for Business-School Partnership
-Future Business Leaders of America
-National DECA Honor Society
-Visual Arts Computer Graphics Internship(my teacher selected me and another student for sophomore year out of the whole class- but i needed to be junior so this year I am taking this internship)
-International Marketing Leadership Conference(coming up in October)
-Volunteer for National Cherry Blossom Festival
-Volunteer for Local Library/ Internship
-Regional Japanese Level 3 Competition with High School Representative Team

*NOW I am guaranteed I will go into a in-state school so I don't know if I'm doing a lot or too little?*

I am working vigorously with my SAT's. I have the 10 real SAT's and have a special program for SAT's. I heard that colleges take SAT's into account but if you have excellent credentials and everything- leadership, blah blah blah, then they could reconsider and let you slide through.

Oh, and I'm going to apply for a National based AND Regional Based Scholarship. Remind you all of this for a In-state School. UPDATE- I applied recently for a $100,000 scholarship and I have good odds since not many ppl signed up for this.

BTW, My GPA's I listed were all unweighted.

Reach Schools: UVA, Vtech, UPenn, USC, Berkley
Back Up Schools: JMU, GMU

Suggestions, comments, recommendations?

Would that be the Nas Free Ride contest? You better have written of your humble upbringings or else you have no chance.
