Hello.. I'm new to this discussion board and I'm glad I can actually anonymously post somewhere! =)
These are the colleges I really want to go to (in order of want):
Northwestern University
University of Michigan
University of Chicago
New York University

I have a pretty low S.A.T. score though.. I'm currently a junior with an S.A.T. score of about 1200. it is not budging! But I'm aiming for a 1300ish score.
I've heard ACT's are easier for some people, is it true?
I've been my church's piano player all throughout high school, and I've played piano and received lessons all throughout high school (actually since age 4)
I've done SOME community service here and there.
I've been nominated and accepted into the "who's who" in American High School Students (?) book... (Is that anything special? I suddenly got one of those letters so I applied and was accepted...)
I've been my chruch's youth group secretary.. only freshman year though.
I was in Concert Band freshman year, symphonic sophomore year, and right now i'm in wind ensemble (the highest level band offered)
I'm going to take the SAT II's.. soon..
I've gotten all A's, EXCEPT for my second semester of honors biology in 9th grade and my second semester of honors english in 10th grade.
All of my classes have been relatively high-level (usually)
I'm taking 3 a.p. courses currently (but i'm thinking about dropping one)

Will I be somehow accepted into any of those colleges that I want to go to?

Thanks for your help!
