I hate reading posts of students with similar stats, but I'll post mine anyway. Would you kindly rate my chances?

WASP Female
SATS:800v 740m-1540 comb.
GPA: 3.7 uw
RANK: 120/600ish (bad, I know)
APs:USH-5, Lang&Comp-5, Psych-5
This year:
Calc
Lit
Music Theory
Bio (self study)
Spanish (self study)

NM Semi (hopefully, I'm still waiting for the letter, grrrrr)

EC's: Math League-2yrs, Choir-4 yrs, Orchestra (principle flautist)-4 yrs, Flute Ensemble (principle)-3 yrs, NHS-2 yrs, Musical Pit orchestra-2 yrs, Speech-2 yrs. Those are the main ones.

Community Service: Hospital 400+ hrs by app. (340 as of now), Project Explore-Adults w/DD-50 hrs, Sunday school Teacher-4 yrs, VBS teacher-4 yrs

Other Stuff: Play piano and guitar as well, take voice lessons, going to compete recognizing classical pieces of music, I can bend my fingers back REALLY far

Work: Babysat full time Summer b4 junior, got job @Target August of that year, work ~20 hrs/week.

My grades and rank are weak, I'm planning on majoring in bio/philo any help at Berkley?

i dont think a gpa of 3.7 is bad, falls into the average range.......plus you have great sat scores.....still wonder how some one can get an 800 in verbal!!!!
Whats your sat ii scores? and are u a cali resident?

It'd be pretty hard to get into the UC system if you're out-of-state, especially when the UCs cut the number of students that they're going to accept this year due to budget cuts in California.
