I was just wondering if I could get into ucla..
my sat score is 1300
my gpa is 4.0
here are my ec's:
Fencing Club President
Homecoming/ Prom Committee
Tennis Team Manager
aps I have/or currently am taking:
AP Calculus a/b
AP English Literature
AP English Language
AP Spanish Language
community service: about 50 hrs
Helping with Rose Parade Floats
Caroling for Can Goods
Showing Dutch people around my town
Helping at local child care
I want to major in either english/spanish/history fields.. not math.. and I got 5's on both of those ap tests, plus 700's in sat II's in both categories.

I think your chances are very good (but my opinion is not to be trusted). Pretty good SAT, Great GPA/ECs...You're in.

Pistolpete, u r right, ur opinions not to be trusted!
u have a a very slim chance of getting in since your sat as well as your gpa falls into the below average range....and oyu havent reported your sat iis which are more important

also, at the UCs, tests are more important than ECs, they dont even require a letter of rec for gosh sake
