Are you a resident of California? If so, you're chances are good.

What school in OC do you go to? (I'm at MVHS)

Oh, btw you have a very good shot at UCSD (I would say 80% chance that you are in). And if you are recruitably good at cross country youre into UCLA, if not you still have a decent shot, your ECs are good.

I would ask you to check my stats but no one cares about them so they've been archived. But I'm sure you can find them at the UCLA post under "Chances" (I'm pretty original).

Thanks. And by the way I go to Trabuco Hills HS in Mission Viejo.

If it's not too much to ask, how are my test scores for the UCs?

By Andrey1225 (Andrey1225) on Wednesday, September 03, 2003 - 03:39 pm: Edit

I know a few kids at Trabuco (im a diablo sucker, jk.)....

And your test scores are decent.

I have a 1370, 730/730/720 SAT 2 and im hoping to get into berkeley and LA too.

I think the UCLA average is in the low 1300s for the SAT and in around 2000 for the combined SAT 2s but it doesnt matter much if you play sports and have good ECs. Our #36 got in last year, but our #3 got rejected so you never know with them.

Sorry to ask again, but do you think I'm in at Claremont McKenna?

By Andrey1225 (Andrey1225) on Sunday, September 07, 2003 - 12:39 pm: Edit

Nothings certain, Claremont Mckenna is a VERY prestigious school and harder to get into than the UCs. The average SAT score is around 1400, and the kids who get in have great ECs and great recs and great essays and great interviews, its all just a cycle of greatness.

You could apply but I think you have less than a 25% chance of getting in, considering thats what the admit rate is.
