Can you tell me which of these engineering schools would be reach/match/safety for me? I am interested in Cornell, UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, U Illinois-UC, Columbia SEAS, WashU-STL, and Purdue-WL. For all state schools, I will be OUT of state.

Here are my stats:

Race/Gender: Chinese-American/Male
Currently attending competitive public school
GPA: 3.93 W, 3.72 UW (My school weights AP but not honors)
Rank: 77/715 W, 148/715 UW
(GPA and Rank are as of 3rd term, so they are a little higher now. I should be in top 10% )
SAT: 1460, 760 M, 700 V
SAT II: 750 US History, 720 Math IIC, 660 Chem, 640 Writing
ACT: 33
AP: 5 Euro, 5 US History, 3 Calc BC (4 AB subscore)
Classes taken are all honors/AP, taking AP Physics/Compsci next year.
Grades are in an upward trend through the years.

EC's: NHS, Math Team (1st in state), Quiz Bowl Team (few awards), Orchestra several years (few awards), Tri-M Music Honor Society, Few other misc. activities
Service: ~150 hours, 120 hours at biology lab, 30 hours as tutor,
Other: Taken 2 credit engineering class at State U, Piano 9 years, Violin 7 years

Yeah, I know I'm a stereotypical Math/Science/Music Asian. That's a problem but I will try to write essays that stand out (just like everyone else). I will have good letters of rec, but who doesn't. Ok, thanks.

are u sure u want to do engineering? u are not gonna be the top students for those schools based on ur stat.
