I am applying to: Amherst ED, Swarthmore, Pomona, JHU, WuStl, Emory, Dartmouth, Cornell, and maybe Upenn/Northwestern.

Stats:
1600/800 bio/800 math 2c/790 writing
ranked top 2-3% of class of 450+
GPA: uw 3.89/ w 4.5+ [with +1 for honors/ap]
hardest curriculum possible
taking 5 AP classes senior year
5s on all AP tests [bio, chem, ushist, calc ab]
got 1 C soph year, got 4.0 junior year
decent ECs
decent recs
** Will work on essay [good-great?]
took 5 CC classes, all As
interesting EC- taught an afterschool english class to recently immigrated korean high schoolers [i'm bilingual, and korean]

So do I have any chances at the schools I'm applying to??

the only thing going against you is that you're an asian applicant. asians are reverse discriminated against.

congratulations on your awesome stats! You will definitely get into Amherst..you might also want to apply to harvard and princeton because u would probably get in there too

My scores may be good, but I know my ECs are not strong enough for me to get admitted to HYMPSC. And most HYP students were val, or at least sal.

did you really have to post your stats on this board as well. Its already annoying as it is that you had to post "What are my chances" threads every other thread, but this is getting out of hand.
