I have recently become plagued by insecurities. How do my chances look for Yale, Stanford, Amherst, Brown, Harvard, and Chicago based on the following information? I appreciate advice, especially when it's based on experience. Thanks.
Basics: White middle-class male from NC
790V 740M; 800Wr 800IIC 780US; 3/362; 3.85UW (all scores fine except a C- in BC Calc...erg)
APs: 5-EnviSci 4-BC Calc 4-US His 3-Latin Vergil
ECs: Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout, Sr Patrol Leader), Order of the Arrow (Chapter Chief, 2002 youth member of the year), Swimming (All-Conference, 4 Years Varsity), Latin Club (President, NLE summa cum laude, Fall Forum Upper Certamen 1st Place), Environment Club (Envirothon competitor, 2nd in region), Literary Magazine (Co-EIC), Marching Band (squad leader)
Other: National Merit Semifinalist (222), attended NC Governor's School for Social Science, very interested in script-writing (esp. comedy)

I wouldn't count on getting in to any of these schools. Your C- in Calculus BC will take your chances away. 91.49% of applicants at Yale have never gotten a B.

I'm an international applicant from India, 790 Verbal 640 Math, and I have mostly B's. My class rank, however, shifts between 1 and 2, are ADCOM's lightly to disregard my grades and consider my rank instead? I should mention that my school is divided in three parts: Science (150 students), Commerce (150 students), and the Humanities(23 students); my rank of 1/2 refers only to the Humanities class as there is absolutely no basis for measurement on a school-wide scale.

i wrote about my swim coach's retirement speech and related it to my own experiences on the swim team and elsewhere. my other essay talked about my involvement in scouting.
