I moved to the USA less than 3 years ago from Russia. My English is pretty good, but I have a limited vocabulary.

SAT: 500V (47%ile) 800M (99%), 540V (60%) 790M (99%)
ACT: 32 (99%): 34 English (99%), 35 Math (99%), 30 Reading (92%), 29 Science (96%)
SAT II: 630 Biology (64%; the only full semester of high school biology I have completed was in 9th grade), 650 Chemistry (63%), 720 Phys (74%), 800 Math IIC (91%), 720 Phys (74%; YES -- another one), 730 Writing (87%)

3.92 unweighted GPA, class rank 7/280

AP's: completed AP Calculus and AP Statistics
Currently enrolled in AP English, AP Government (American and Comparative), AP US History, AP Art History, and AP Biology. No AP exams.

19 College credits in Physics, College Algebra, Calculus 1, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, and Introduction to Engineering with a 4.00 college GPA.

EC's are not stellar, but are concentrated in math/science, so this may be good since I'll major in engineering.

A number of math/science/business awards and leadership positions.

I have great recommendations and a decent essay.

Applying to a whole bunch of schools; the most selective ones on my list are UC Berkeley and Caltech. I'm thinking about adding another competitive school, perhaps MIT.

What are some great engineering schools that accept a small percentage of students and where I would have a chance?

Do you think I have any chances at MIT and/or Stanford?

Will the ADCOM take into account that I'm Russian? Will they understand why I have a low verbal SAT score? Will my high Writing score make up for it?

Thanks a lot.
