Myself , Nehil Jain is presently studying in 12th standard in International
Indian School Dammam affliated to the Central Board of Secondary education
of India due to give my CBSE board exams[ class 12] in march 2003. I plan to
undertake an undergraduate course as an international student[citizen of
india] in electrical engineering and to enrol for the september session of
2003 . I have always been among the top few students in my school( 8000+
students ) in academics and extracarricular activites including sports . I
have given my SAT-1 test securing 1390 marks [ 800-maths,590 - english] . I
am registered to give my SAT-2 subject tests [ physics , chemistry and maths
2-c]in october and december 2002 . Do these satisfy the academic
requirements needed to apply to universities like University of Illinois Urbana Champaign , University of Texas-Austin , Texas A& M university ,Princeton University ?
Also i would like to know if need based aids and scholarhips are available
for international students as I might have a problem with the fees structure
. And also if they are other financial assistance schemes for international
students .
Thanx

in regards to University of Texas and Texas A&M you seem to have a good chance at getting in.
