I am now shooting for Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, Rensselaer, USC, MIT, and University of Washington.
especially want to get into UCLA or Berkeley
I am Korean and came to the States in the 2nd semester of freshman year. (01/2001)
Currently a junior.
GPA: 4.00(UNWEIGHTED), 4.5625(WEIGHTED)
SAT: VERBAL 600, MATH 800
SATII: WRITING 550, 1C 800, 2C 800, BIOLOGY 800 CHEMISTRY 720 KOREAN 800
Have taken 4 AP classes: CALC AB, CALC BC, Stat, Bio
I also took Psychology 1, English (Equivalent to regular English in high school), Japanese 1, and Biology 3(equivalent to Bio regular) classes at Santa Monica Community College
During this summer, I will take Physics (Physics 8) at SMC
My senior schedule
1. AP Economy
2. English P
3. AP CHEM
4. Marine Bio HP
5. AP Computer Science
Fall: Multivariable Calculus at UCLA ?Math 32a (Not extension class) and Japanese 2 at SMC
Spring: any math class beyond Multivariable Calculus 32b? I don no yet. Sociology 1 at SMC
However, I have not done that much extra curricular and community service (I think it is my drawback)
All I did was community service at Red Cross (4 hrs/week ?about 200 hours so far), and at the library (for about 60 hours). I am also a member of Red Cross club and Asian Club at high school. For NHS, and CSF, Last, I did some tutoring. (for about 30 hours)
Awards/Honors:
KSEA Math Competition 2nd place
American Mathematics Contests school winner
American invitational mathematics examination school winner
National Honor Roll 2003.
Who’s who among American high school students 2003.
Please advise what universities I am likely to get in.

Here's a quick tip:
don't even MENTION national honor roll or who's who.
You're obviously a smart guy, and I think all of the UC's are in your range. JHU is a definite possibility, but Harvard, Stanford, and MIT are...well...it's a crapshoot for everyone.

sorry... but since I am not an American who was born here, I do not know which award is good or not. Dat's why I just mentioned all I got so far. I apologize if those awards were meaningless.

Haha no need to apologize. I was tricked by the whole who's who thing too until a friend told me what it was.
By the way, make sure your essays talk about your PERSON, your experiences in Korea or whatever, and NOT your extensive volunteering.
