A legacy only counts if you are qualified otherwise---which you appear to be.
Applying ED to your legacy college---along with well thought out paragraphs about why you and Princeton are so well suited for each other, may just do the trick. It is a trick getting into any school with so low an acceptance rate, you know.

I think u have a good chance. You're definitely qualified, & the legacy could push u over the edge.

I have a pretty extensive art portfolio as well. Would it behoove me two attach three pictures to my portfolio (i'm thinking of a sketch, a watercolour and a CG piece.)

My younger daughter did exactly that: worked for her! She just scanned three things, pasted them into Word after a little manipulation, and ran off ten copies of a four page "report" (with a cover.)
She also illustrated her essays with a few small photos and line drawings that were appropriate...again posted them into a Word document. Showing the adcom that you know how to paste your name in vertically up the right side of an illustration "Pen and ink by Joe Picasso" says a little extra about your computer skills.
I figure someone applying as an art major would follow the submission rules much closer--slides, etc.
