My GPA is only about 3.65, 4.3 weighted. However, my SAT 1's are 800 math, 790 verbal, while my SAT II's are all 800's: in Math IIC, Writing and US History. I am a legacy to Stanford, Berkeley and Caltech, and I am a ranked but not elite tennis player(Division III only), but a top chess player, top 10 in the country(for whatever that's worth). I am thinking that Berkeley is a possibility, but Stanford and Caltech are probably out of reach, though not particularly interested in Caltech anyway. I am wondering if I am estimating this correctly, and if there are any schools where my good test scores would outweigh my grades...

I think you can easily get into all three. Your GPA is quite good.

You are IN all three for sure! No question! If you don't get in to any college in the country, then Elvis will come back to life!

first of all your SATs and SAT IIs are astounding wowwwwwww i want themmm
your gpa is not that bad...it's like a B+ range unweighted i suppose..maybe you can get it a LITTLE higher...
your legacies will help a LOT
so will being a ranked tennis player
but the thing that impresses me the most is that you are a top a chess player...that's very very very impressive (atleast to me) use that!...essays...i'm sure you've won lots of comptetitions...be sure to list them...
if you are interested in staying on the west coast i think you can get into stanford...but you never know so i think you should apply to some east coast ivies because you'll be sure to get in somewhere
congrats with your achievements

Now, the question is Why is it that you can get a 1590 SAT, 800s on three SAT II's, and your GPA is still only a B+? What happened there? You are obviously smart but, standardized tests aren't everything. Once you get to your college, you will be taking CLASSES for a GPA, not the SAT or any of that junk. Also, you only mentioned two ECs? Two ECs throughout HS does not get you anywhere unless you devote 30 hours a week to developing better treatments for cancer. Maybe I am ignorant, but, thats one opinion and lets hope it's not one that is shared by the admissions officers.

Well if you are actually Cherokee, apply to Dartmouth and you'll get in. That probably goes for most places since American Indians are hugely underrepresented. And if you are actually Cherokee AND Jewish, I think any school will be at your command.
