Are SAT II's used in admissions decisions at private schools as heavily as the SAT I is? I have a 1460 SAT I and 800, 800, 740 SAT II's (in Math IIC, Writing, and US History, respectively). Will my good SAT II scores make up for my "average" SAT score at Georgetown/Brown/other ivies?

All "good" schools require 3 SAT II's- a writing, a math, and an X subject
Also your SAT score is not average by any means. At my school(one of the top in the state) the average is 1190. 1460 is outstanding for many people. All of your better schools like the SAT II's. You probably would not get into ivies with a 600 SAT II score.

I meant "average" by IVY standards.
