I'm applying to Cornell, Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Wheaton, Duke, and UNC-Chapel Hill. What do you think?

i don think so becasue for them, there is not that much of difference between 770 and 800. However, it will be better if you get higher than 770 (Obviously, 770 < 800 ^_^)

on second thought... take it again only if you are ABSOLUTELY sure that you can do better... but 770 is truely fantastic... 710 myself, in at Cornell

I know tons of people who got in the low 700's, even the 600's and got into ivies, etc. I got an 800 on that test and am going to Cornell, but I'm an engineer. I guess if math is something important, and you think you can get an 800, then try again.

Waste of time to take it again, especially if grades in math are good.My son took it today, and if he gets your score, I'll tell him the same thing.

Yes. 770 is way too low for Math 2c. You really have to get 800.
