The environmental program is among the strongest at the Colgate and is highly respected. I guess you visit its website for more details. If your son wants to go to Law School, he'll be in good company based on the number of Colgate grads through the years who have gone on to some of the best in the country including Yale, Harvard, Michigan, Stanford, Columbia, Georgetown, Emory, etc.
Other schools with environmental studies include Bowdoin, Middlebury, Dartmouth, Haverford, Wesleyan, Bates, Hamilton, Maclaester, Carlton, Oberlin, St. Lawrence and Brown, among others. All of these schools will prepare your son for Law School.

Three other fine colleges to consider: Williams, Lafayette and Trinity.

I posted elsewhere hoping for information about Lafayette. Can you share what you know about the school and why you would recommend it? Thanks.

Dafna -- Re sciences at Colgate, thanks to a $25 million pledge made by an individual alum, construction is underway on a new 68,000-square-foot interdisciplinary science building.
