To the parents of this board: do you have any children who are seniors this year and are going to take the new SAT or ACT? Why? Is it for scholarships they will apply to in the spring?

This year's seniors (class of 2005) DO NOT need to take the new SAT. I would think any scholarships for the class of 2005 would be based on the current SAT.
The first time the new SAT will be given will be in March 2005 for the class of 2006 (this year's current high school juniors.) That's much too late for any scholarship programs for the following fall for this year's high school seniors.
