Hi Parents
I received a letter in the mail today from Dartmouth stating that my status was a regular decision candidate, when I have already sent in the early decision supplement, etc. My first though was to immediately email back to change the mistake. But now I'm wondering, should I take this as a "sign"? Dartmouth is my first choice school and I'm so ready to apply ED, but parents keep telling me to apply RD and keep my options open. They think I would be a strong candidate for RD applications.

No, don't take it as a "sign". Your information probably got entered into the computer wrong. Contact them.
