Quick question:
I know that you can major in anything and go on to law school, but is sociology one of the "better" majors? Also, is it a popular major at most colleges?

Sociology is typically not one of the most popular majors at most colleges. It would be a reasonable major for a pre-law student. I don't know if there is any consensus on "better" majors. Too many variables.
Personally, I like social science majors as prep for business and the professions, particularly if your major is supported by coursework in other social science disciplines (i.e. support a sociology major with courses from psychology and anthropology.)
